Below is our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) that might come up during the process or when simply browsing our website. If you don’t see an answer to your question, please contact us.
We keep our website current, updating it daily when needed. If you see openings on a deposit list and/or pups not marked “Sold”, then yes, we have pups available. If you do not see any openings on deposit lists, and the litters are all marked “Litter Sold” then we are sold out and we are putting deposits on a general waiting list for future litters. There are always more pups on the way at WP!
Please contact us for current pricing.

F1 pups are produced by breeding a female Golden Retriever with a male Mini Poodle. The resulting pups are half Golden Retriever and half Miniature Poodle.

The resulting puppies are ¾ Mini Poodle and ¼ Golden Retriever.

A micro-chip is a way for lost dogs to hopefully get some help finding their way home.
Our vet implants a tiny chip just under the puppy’s skin which has a 10 digit code. We register you as the owner by purchasing and filing a lifetime registration with Homeward Bound. If your dog goes lost and is brought to an animal shelter or vet clinic, they will scan for the code, call Homeward Bound to learn who is the owner, and then will call the owner.
The selection process starts after we post a full round of individual pictures at about 5 ½ to 6 weeks of age. Selections can be made based on the pictures, or by a personal visit to WP. Visits are by appointment only. The selection order follows the order deposits came in.
They must be at least 8 weeks old before going home. NO exceptions. We prefer to see them go home on their 8 week birthday or asap thereafter.
Yes! We ship them as air cargo or by using a flight nanny. At this time the airlines have suspended shipping puppies as cargo, so we are using a flight nanny for all our shipments. The nanny books herself a flight and then brings the puppy on board as carry on. The fee for this is usually $600.00 and is paid by the customer directly to the flight nanny. If you would like to do the flight nanny work yourself, you can book a flight into and out of Sioux Falls, SD and we will deliver the puppy to you there.
