Our vet implants a tiny chip just under the puppy’s skin which has a 10 digit code. We register you as the owner by purchasing and filing a lifetime registration with Homeward Bound. If your dog goes lost and is brought to an animal shelter or vet clinic, they will scan for the code, call Homeward Bound to learn who is the owner, and then will call the owner.
