Hi! Our name is Glenn and Kris Kooima. Owners of Whispering Pines Puppies. We met in college and were married in 1991. Our first years together were spent living in a small Iowa town where Glenn owned and managed a feed business. Kris worked as a CNA in a local retirement home until we started a family and she has been busy caring for us full time ever since. God blessed us with 5 children. 

We both grew up on farms, so we were eager to move our young family to the country and did so in 1997. The two of us started raising a few puppies as a hobby and for the fun experience it would give our children. We soon found strong demand for our Mini Goldendoodles and the hobby turned into a family project and business. Three of our children are now married so our family has grown. We have a son in college and a daughter in high school. As of this writing, we have 6 grandchildren.

We enjoy raising Mini Doodles and placing them in good homes, and have been doing so for 19 years. Our facilities and business are governed and regulated by the USDA and the State of Iowa.
